Tour of My Home Office
I work in information technology, and work full time from home. My office was in need of a change, and after finishing our basement I decided to move my office down there, and give it a makeover.
I needed a workspace not only for work, but also for writing articles for my technology blog, and for making videos. I started thinking about new equipment, like a new computer, monitors, and desk.
I started by painting the wall with an accent color, and got to work building the new desk, and getting everything all setup.
Desk
For the desk I ended up going for a modern but simple desk from Monarch Specialties. I needed a smaller desk for the space, and this one fits the bill. It measures 29.25 Inch by 47.25 inch.

Computer
In my old office I was using my laptop which was connected to my monitors via a docking station, however I wanted to go with a more powerful desktop. I ended up going with a Lenovo Thinkcentre M75q, with the Ryzen 5 Pro 5650GE. This system is very fast, and meets all my needs for work, as well as video editing.
Monitors
It was time I got new monitors, as I was using two older 24 inch LCD screens, and they were starting to die. I ended up buying two new Asus VL279HE 27 inch screens, which I really like.

Monitor Mount
I’m reusing my monitor mount from my old office, as it remains a great choice for my new office. I’ve been using the Arctic Z2 mount, which connects to the back of my desk and supports dual monitors, plus it has a built in 4 port USB hub.
Webcam
My webcam is a Logitech C920 HD Pro, which I use for webinars, as well as recording videos, which is inexpensive, but has decent quality.

Manfrotto Tripod
My tripod is the Manfrotto 055XPROB, which sits beside my desk to give me a better view for my webcam.

Microphone
My mic is the Maono AU-A04, which I opted for a desktop mount, instead of the swing arm. This mic has worked well, and sound great.

Plushie
Keeping me company is the rare Microsoft Ninja Cat plushie.
